[ncc-announce] Reminder - RIPE NCC Call for Nominations for Executive Board Seats

Dear RIPE NCC member,

The terms for the following RIPE NCC Executive Board members will expire
at the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) in May 2008:

- Kees Neggers
- Jim Reid

In compliance with the RIPE NCC Articles of Association, the RIPE NCC is
calling for nominations to the RIPE NCC Executive Board.

The deadline for nominations is 9 April 2008.

A nomination for the appointment of a member of the Executive Board
requires the written support of at least five members. You must be a
RIPE NCC member and a registered LIR contact to support a nomination.
Nomination submissions should include the following information:

    * Your full name
    * Your organisation
    * Your LIR RegID
    * Name of the candidate you wish to support

Nominations must be submitted by e-mail to <agm-nominations at ripe.net> by
Wednesday, 9 April 2008, following the guidelines outlined in article 9
of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association. The Articles of Association are

Voting for the appointment of the RIPE NCC Executive Board members will
take place at the GM. The GM will be held on Wednesday, 7 May 2008 from
16:00-18:30, adjacent to the RIPE 56 Meeting, which takes place from 5-9
May 2008 at the Hotel Palace in Berlin, Germany.

If you would like to vote but cannot attend the GM, you can be
represented by a third party who is not an authorised employee or
director. If so, please fill out the proxy form and send it to us by 23
April 2008. Any proxy sent to us after this date will not be valid. The
