You can contact him if you want more info . ------- It assumes you have a file called "ALLOCATIONS" or something which contains entries in the format: (Class C's specified a.b.c.0) [ - End Class C ] NETNAME {anything else} It reads this file, and then checks those addresses against the RIPE database, listing *all* entries, and emphasising gaps and entries where the ALLOCATIONS NETNAME doesn't match the returned one... Regional registries would share such information, especially concerning applications for large amounts of resource. * The assign-review at ripe.net list would be used to discuss queries about assignment of address space. * Charging for address space should be broadly similar between regional registries. * Charging for name space would be considered in the light of any InterNIC decision thereon. * The regional registries would meet regularly and would also arrange collectively to meet Jon Postel.
