From fgont at si6networks.com Mon Aug 13 16:24:42 2012 From: fgont at si6networks.com (Fernando Gont) Date: Mon, 13 Aug 2012 11:24:42 -0300 Subject: [ipv6-wg] IPv6 Toolkit v1.2.3 released Message-ID: <50290E2A.20005@si6networks.com> Folks, We've released IPv6 toolkit v1.2.3. It is available at: (tarball and git repository). The IPv6 toolkit contains a number of IPv6 security/troubleshooting tools, such as: * An IPv6 local network scanner (scan6) * An IPv6 fragmentation assessment tool (frag6) * A tool to craft arbitrary TCP/IPv6 segments (tcp6) * A tool to craft arbitrary Router Advertisements (ra6) .... and many, many others This version of the toolkit has been fully-ported to Mac OS (the list of supported systems now including, at the very least, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Linux, and Mac OS), and also incorporates a number of patches sent by the community. Any feedback on the tools will be welcome (either unicast to me, or to the ipv6hackers mailing-list ). Follow us on Twitter to get the latest news about the IPv6 Toolkit and IPv6 security: @SI6Networks Thanks! Greetings folks, The commentary on our proposal was appreciated. The slot that IAD has allocated to us is: 1330 - 1630 CEST on the 29th of Sept 2012 I am aware so far, that opsec is planning to meet in the same location from 0900-1200 and the SIDR has an interim scheduled for the entire day that Saturday. While there are some details still to be worked out it's time to get the framework in place for the interim to coincide with the end of RIPE 65, Amsterdam, 24 - 28 September 2012. Location is: Hotel Okura Ferdinand Bolstraat 333 1072 LH Amsterdam +31 (0) 20 678 7493 I think we should plan to maintain an interim document submission deadline two weeks out from the meeting itself. Too be considered for inclusion in the interim agenda new or revised documented should be submitted to the IETF document system by 23:59 UTC on Sept 14th. Documents currently being hashed out on the list are certainly fair game for inclusion in the interim. I have attached the ical for the document-submission deadline to the meeting.
