The change in the RIPE Database: - There is a new syntax for the "nserver:" attribute in the DOMAIN object to support IPv4 and IPv6 glue name servers. The changes in the DNS management system: - The management of DNS delegation in the e164.arpa (ENUM) zone has been brought under the same provisioning system as reverse DNS management. - The Delegation Checker has been updated to support glue name servers for IPv4 and IPv6 - The Web Zone Delegation Checker has also been updated You can find more details about the proposal for implementation at: http://www.ripe.net/ripe/maillists/archives/dns-wg/2006/msg00128.html -- Katie Petrusha RIPE NCC From webmaster at ripe.net Wed Aug 16 15:52:02 2006 From: webmaster at ripe.net (RIPE NCC Document Announcement Service) Date: Wed, 16 Aug 2006 15:52:02 +0200 Subject: [enum-wg] New Documents available: RIPE-384, RIPE-385 Message-ID: <20060816135202.368842F592@herring.ripe.net> New RIPE Document Announcement -------------------------------------- Two new documents are available from the RIPE document store. Carsten and I, your co-chairs, have already started to approach the "usual suspects" whom we count on for some of the presentations. We would very much appreciate your suggestions for material you would like to see presented (or, better yet, would be prepared to present). Please, don't be shy! If you count yourself among the "usual suspects", and haven't heard from either of us yet, do feel free to contact us before we contact you. We're looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible in Amsterdam. It lays the groundwork for further improvements, eg. recurring DNS delegation quality checks.
