Regarding the case raised by Ondrej: IOS-XR couldn't allow to set SOO (site of origin extended community) : ASN 0:xxxx. This is now fixed for coming XR 4.2.1 release (target Q1/Q2 2012). For reference, the fix id is: CSCts48869 Regarding the case raise by Maksym and Wolfgang: The need to set "proxy ARP" off by default. Another fix is on it's way, will provide details soon. BTW: I also created a email alias ask-cisco-ix at cisco.com I will encourage the EIX wg community to ask question or report concern to Cisco using this alias (even if you don't have Cisco Equipment) to get these kind of issues resolve faster. Thank you for participating, I hope that we can welcome you to subsequent Working Group sessions. The format for EIX @ '63 was more interactive than ever before, and the feedback I received was positive, so hopefully the community will want to proceed with the same format. > Regarding the case raise by Maksym and Wolfgang: The need to set ?proxy ARP? off by default. Another fix is on it?s way, will provide details soon. Now this is really good news. :-) It'd be great if we could make proxy-arp mistakes less common as a result of our discussions within EIX. Thanks, Andy Davidson LONAP / IXLeeds / HE.net and EIX-wg co-chair.
