I've been through this discussion numerous times.
Seen from the outside world, CWI e-mail addresses
may *only* be "user at cwi.nl" or "My.Name at cwi.nl".
Internally we work with addresses including the
mailhosts only for reaching those mailhosts, and
MX does play a role here.
Therefore the cwi.nl zone file doesn't contain MX
records, except where *absolutely necessary*, i.e.:
- for the domain cwi.nl itself;
- for the mailhosts (fallback!).
All additional MX records would be non-functional
and mere pollution of the zone file.
