[db-wg] Problem with replication

Dear colleagues,

Since 0:00 (UTC+1) on Wednesday, 20 November, we’ve experienced some issues with data replication in our back-end system. This has led to unreasonable delays between executing a database update and seeing the result in the queries in some cases. We want to ensure you that all updates have been processed and no data has been lost.

We have a temporary fix to restore data replication to a normal state, so currently the replication is working as it should. However, for unknown reasons, the replication has been failing at some point during the night. We’re working very hard to identify the root cause of this issue in order to find a permanent solution to the problem.
