The user just fetches a URL of the form (say) http://www.ripe.net/cgi/whois?Woeber at which point whoisd gets queried with (say) -H Woeber and the -H would cause the output whould not be the usual ASCII output but HTML. Of course there will also be http://www.ripe.net/.../whois.html which will provide a form to enter a query. Daniel
