Dear colleagues. As the recent RIPE 81 meeting did not allow for a lot of time to talk about this topic, I have written a blog post to provide you with some updates and on what is happening within the realm of ITU. Apart from a change in terminology, there hasn't been much progress with regards to New IP. But equally important is that a further postponement of the World Telecommunication Standardisation Assembly (WTSA) is now on the table, with India proposing to reschedule the meeting to March 2022. Our views and the expected impact of such a decision can be read in the article.
