Dear colleagues,

As my colleague Chris promised earlier, I have done a bit of a bigger
write-up on the proposals by Huawei and partners collectively referred to as
"New IP".

Of course, we remain engaged on the topic and will keep you informed about
updates.

We have also agreed with the chairs of this working group to provide an
overview of New IP during RIPE 80, where we hopefully also have the
opportunity to answer some questions.
