[anti-spam-wg] BCP on limiting e-mail abuse

At the last RIPE meeting I said I would get updated advice
installed as a RIPE document.

It should not now be necessary to go through the whole
Policy Development process described at
http://www.ripe.net/ripe/policies/.
Instead I draw your attention once more to the draft at
http://www.ripe.net/ripe/meetings/ripe-52/presentations/
ripe52-antispam-ripe-206-update.html
(long URL, or use the first part and find
"Update to RIPE-206" on Wednesday).
The version to be superseded is at
http://www.ripe.net/ripe/docs/spam.html
and the draft is marked with the changes proposed.

Unless I hear from anyone before the end of the WG
session (15:30 +0200 Thursday 5 Oct) either by mail or
at the session, I will arrange for the updated version to
be published as the current BCP.

There was consensus that this version should be adopted
without further delay. You may feel that the next revision
is due already, in which case we can start preparing it at
once!

Thank you.
Rodney Tillotson.
