ICANN Postpones KSK Rollover

ICANN will postpone plans to carry out the Root Zone KSK (Key Signing Key) Rollover originally scheduled for 11 October 2017.

The change will allow more time for network operators using DNSSEC-validating resolvers to update their systems with the new KSK.

Whilst no new date has been set as of yet, the Rollover will likely take place in early 2018. Network operators using DNSSEC-validating resolvers are encouraged to update their DNS resolver systems with the new KSK as soon as possible.

More information is available on the ICANN website.
