Brian Trammell

Brian Trammell has been interested in measuring the Internet since his university days as a sysadmin. He currently manages a Site Reliability Engineering team at Google, working on Borg, a cluster operating system. This follows a decade-long career as a researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, where he focused on Internet performance measurement and the deployability and evolvability of Internet protocols.

In addition to co-chairing the MAT Working Group, he also co-chairs the Path Aware Networking Research Group at the IRTF and contributes to the QUIC and Transport Services working groups. In the past, he has served as co-chair of the IPPM IP Performance Measurement Working Group and as a member of the Internet Architecture Board, and was involved in the development and standardisation of IPFIX.

Nina Bargisen

Nina leads the team at Subspace that is building and maintaining network partner and network vendor relationships in Europe.

With 20+ years experience as an active member of the Global Internet Community, Nina has served on program committees and IXP boards. She is an active industry speaker (having spoken at various industry conferences over the years), and is currently co-chair for the MAT Working Group. Previous to Subspace, she played an instrumental role in securing the delivery of Netflix streaming traffic in EMEA.
