James Kennedy

Over the past 7 years, James has lead several international IP projects for Liberty Global, in the role of IP Address Management, Senior Manager. Primarily, he has developed strategies and roadmaps for improved IPv4 usage efficiency, IPv6 deployment planning, and optimised IP management tooling, reporting and processes across 11 countries and 17 RIPE LIRs.

Prior to joining Liberty Global, James grew his deep knowledge and appreciation for the RIPE Database and Registry, IP address policies, and the RIPE Community while working for the RIPE NCC as an IP Resource Analyst for 3.5 years.

His RIPE policy proposal 2015-02 “Keep IPv6 PI When Requesting IPv6 Allocation” was warmly accepted by the Community.
