Which training course should I attend?

LIR Training Course: You should attend this training course if you are part of the staff of a Local Internet Registry (LIR) in the RIPE NCC service region. 


The Basic IPv6 Training CourseYou should attend this training course if you are part of the staff of a Local Internet Registry (LIR) and if you: 

  • Are thinking about deploying IPv6 in your organisation
  • Have been told you need to deploy IPv6
  • Need to convince your manager that IPv6 needs to be deployed
  • Have looked at an IPv6 address and thought it was too complicated to deploy in your network

 

RIPE Database Training CourseYou should attend this training course if you are employed by a Local Internet Registry (LIR) in the RIPE NCC service region.

 

Routing Security Training CourseYou should attend this training course if you are part of the technical staff at a Local Internet Registry (LIR) in the RIPE NCC service region (such as network operator, engineer, etc.)
This course is not intended for administrative or management staff (such as hostmasters).


Advanced IPv6 Training Course: You should attend this training course if you are part of the staff of a Local Internet Registry (LIR) and if you:

  • Have been told you need to deploy IPv6
  • Have experience with IPv4 routing, OSPFv2 and BGP for IPv4


DNSSEC Training Course: You should attend this training course if you employed by a Local Internet Registry (LIR) in the RIPE NCC service region and manage DNS servers.
