Kazakhtelecom JSC is the largest infocommunications operator in the Republic of Kazakhstan, established in 1994, on the advice of the Ministry of Communications, the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Currently, Kazakhtelecom JSC is an operator with a broad portfolio of products and services providing fixed-line telephony, broadband Internet access, digital Pay TV services, and other innovative services. It is represented throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan by its network of 238 service points, 16 data centres, and regional contact centres. Kazakhtelecom JSC is actively developing promising areas such as cybersecurity, smart cities, smart homes, and the Internet of Things to optimise the efficiency and safety of buildings, facilities and cities.

Internet Association of Kazakhstan" (ULPA) was founded in June 2009 in order to consolidate the Internet-community of Kazakhstan. It is a non-commercial and public organization, which consist of 45 telecom companies, ISPs, software developers, payments systems and media websites. The Association represents members in governmental bodies, participates in legislative activities and in international and local expert events. It holds a Special Consultative Status at the UN Economic and Social Council since July 2014.
