CAPIF 2: Tashkent, 19-20 September 2023
The event is designed to support the needs of the peering and interconnection community in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Iran.
Central Asia is a landlocked region with a high potential to serve as a crossroads of interconnection for other regions and countries, including China, Iran, Russia and the Caucasus.
We will discuss core topics promoting peering and IXPs in Central Asia, Iran and neighbouring regions, such as legislative and regulatory frameworks, opportunities for regional and international connectivity, funding and resources for IXPs, hosting CDNs, and network security, stability and resilience, including RPKI. Special attention will also be given to Internet measurement tools and instruments provided by different local and international stakeholders.
