The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) October 2009 took place on Wednesday, 7 October 2009, adjacent to the RIPE 59 Meeting at the Corinthia Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal.
Candidate members could attend the GM but were not allowed to vote according to article 16.7 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association. Members who could not attend the GM were able to vote by means of proxy voting, as per article 16.
The meeting could only pass resolutions submitted and published according to article 15 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association.
The RIPE NCC Report for the GM was presented in the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session on Wednesday, 7 October 2009. GM attendees not registered for the RIPE Meeting were welcome to participate. The RIPE NCC Report was not repeated in the GM.
