Voting Report

There was one item to be voted on at the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) November 2021.

1,577 members registered to vote, and 1,273 members cast their ballots. There were 17 Abstain votes - these are recorded but do not count towards the result. So 1,256 members cast votes on the resolution options.

An option in the Resolution needed more than 50% of first preference votes to be approved. If no option received more than 50% in a round of voting, the option with the fewest top preference votes was eliminated. The system then recalculated after redistributing votes according to the order of preference until an option received more than 50% of top preference votes.

Verifying your vote

All those who voted received an email receipt allowing them to verify that their vote was recorded correctly. To verify your vote, you will need to use your browser's search feature to find your receipt. There are fewer voting receipts than total votes because some voters represented more than one member and carried the voting rights for these members.
