General Meeting - November 2014

The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) November 2014 was held from 5-7 November adjacent to the RIPE 69 Meeting at the Novotel London West Hotel.

At the GM, the RIPE NCC membership discussed the Draft RIPE NCC Activity Plan and Budget 2015. There were also updates from the RIPE NCC Executive Board, a discussion on charging for AS Numbers and a resolution to be voted on concerning a new RIPE NCC Standard Service Agreement.

Resolution Result

At the GM, members were asked to vote on an updated Standard Service Agreement (SSA). The SSA was updated to incorporate the changed agreement between the RIPE NCC and the Dutch tax authorities, which allows members to decide annually on the allocation of the RIPE NCC surplus or deficit. Members will now be able to choose each year whether the RIPE NCC's annual surplus or deficit is added to the reserves or distributed among members.

The result of the voting was as follows:

  • Yes - 286
  • No - 4
  • Abstain - 35
