RIPE Diversity

Dear colleagues,

We're looking at organising another Diversity in Tech session at the
upcoming RIPE 86 meeting.

Are there any specific topics you would like to see addressed?
Do you have any suggestions for possible speakers?
Would anyone here like to actively help put the session together?

Hi Mirjam, 

It's been a while, and although I have withdrawn from a number of activities to focus on career and my love, the theatre, as well as supporting some Ukrainian techies and indy journalist, I have not lost sight nor concern of Diversity issues.  

Hope this finds you and yours happy and well.

I'd like to see addressed, topics of aging; and of course women in tech. 

I can speak.  How else can I help?

I also know of a great speaker, Raisa Ghazi of High Tech tea, and most recently I heard her at the Women in Tech Regatta in Amsterdam.  https://www.raisaghazi.com/

Hello Mirjam
I join Karla in her choice of topics and would add:

1- geographical diversity

2- What are we doing to ensure young blood into the Ripe working groups?

As a speaker, i recommend that you, the RIPE chair would share your views
and ask for support from community to reach your vision. As a woman, was it
harder or did it take longer for you to reach leadership position?
