By ticking this box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Participation Form. You acknowledge that this agreement does not grant you any rights to the translations you provide, except as otherwise provided herein.

By volunteering as a translator, you will be participating in the translation of our content. The content that you will be translating can include, website content, training materials, presentations, video text and subtitles, various documentation, surveys or questionnaires (the “Content”).

Terms of Participation:

1. Contribution: As a participant, you agree to contribute to translating Content, ensuring the translation is accurate, respectful, and culturally appropriate.
2. Copyright Ownership:
a. Assignment of Rights: You agree that all rights, title, and interest, including copyrights, in and to the translations you contribute, shall be the exclusive property of the RIPE NCC.
b. No Retention of Rights: You shall not retain any ownership rights in the translations, and hereby waive any moral rights or other rights you may have in such translations under applicable law, except where such rights are legally inalienable.
c. Use of Translations: the RIPE NCC may use, modify, reproduce, distribute, perform, display, and commercialize the translations in any way it sees fit without further consent or remuneration.
3. Warranties: You warrant that the translation work is original and does not infringe upon any existing copyright or intellectual property rights.
4. Confidentiality: You agree to keep all materials, information, and translations confidential and not to disclose any content to outside parties unless explicitly authorised by the RIPE NCC.

Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, whether oral or written.
