RIPE Database changes necessary for the implementation of RIPE Policy Proposal 2014-01, 'Abandoning the Minimum Allocation Size for IPv4'

The release of RIPE Database software version 1.75 includes the changes to the RIPE Database necessary for the implementation of the accepted RIPE Policy Proposal 2014-01. It will be possible for the RIPE NCC to register allocations and for users to make sub-allocations of any size in the RIPE Database. In theory, this includes even a single IP address. These small allocations and sub-allocations can be routed and reverse delegated as far as the syntax and business rules are applied within the RIPE Database and in the DNS propagation software.
