Ray Pelletier first IETF Administrative Director

15 July 2007 - The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is delighted to announce the appointment of Ray Pelletier as its first IETF Administrative Director (IAD). This appointment marks a key step in the IETF's progress in building a coordinated administrative platform that supports the collective needs of its community.

Over the course of the coming months, this will include reorganisation of the IETF's global budget and establishment or review of contracts with key support organisations.
