ASO AC Selects Raimundo Beca to Serve New Term on ICANN Board

5 May 2007 - The Address Supporting Organization (ASO) is pleased to announce that the ASO Address Council (AC) has selected Raimundo Beca to serve a new term on the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Board.

Mr Beca's appointment follows a lengthy selection process,  including a public call for nominations, interviews with eligible candidates, background checks, a public comment period and a vote by all ASO AC members. The AC confirmed the result at their meeting on 2 May, 2007.
