Russian Whois Data Changes

ripe database news announcement

We have been informed of changes to Russian telephone area codes. One of our Russian members has asked the RIPE NCC to perform a bulk update on the whois data to reflect these changes.

The area codes change on 1 December 2005. If we receive no objections, we plan to make this update two weeks later, on 15 December 2005.

If anyone changes the code in their own objects, it will not be affected by this update.

List of area codes to be changed.
