What you’ll be doing
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams across the organisation on a variety of communications projects
  • Support the development of marketing strategies and activities towards our members
  • Research and analyse market trends, demographics, and other information that affects our communication strategies
  • Maintain and improve our social media communications strategy
  • Support in the organisation of large-scale industry conferences at home and abroad
  • Plan promotional campaigns for our entire product and service portfolio
  • Produce and implement communications plans to support the ongoing projects of numerous RIPE NCC departments and services
  • Write, edit and proof a variety of documentation (e.g. technical, organisational, web content, newsletters, company announcements)

The Communications Department is a highly professional, creative and fun team. As part of the Communications Department you will work closely with seven other colleagues. We will work together to build on and develop our awareness and identity in the organisation and our community.

Essential Qualifications

We are specifically looking for:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Native English speaker
  • Five or more years’ experience working in communications and marketing
  • Excellent writing skills, experience in marketing and branding projects or campaigns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Flexibility to travel, a minimum of two times a year.

It would be great if you could demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working in an international environment
  • Affinity with Internet infrastructure and technologies
  • Familiarity with social media and social networking
  • A proven ability to be innovative and creative problem solver

      The annual salary for this position is between EUR 42,600 and EUR 61,300 (before tax). This includes the standard 8% annual “holiday pay” and a 5% end-of-year bonus. Monthly salary is between EUR 3,142 and EUR 4,521 (before tax).
