Ivo Dijkhuis

Ivo Dijkhuis joined the RIPE NCC in 2009 and is currently a Senior Information Security Officer. He advises the organisation on all topics involving information security. In his role as the information security team lead, he is also responsible for the RIPE NCC Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT). The RIPE NCC CSIRT is a member of TF-CSIRT, and Ivo is a regular speaker at their international events, as well as at other events.

Ivo has over 20 years experience in IT and information security related roles. He holds an MSc degree in Digital Investigation and Forensic Computing from the University College Dublin, a Bachelor's degree in Information Communications Technology from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and has several security certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) and GIAC Critical Controls Certification (GCCC).

While Ivo is interested in all aspects of information security, he has a special interest in doing hands-on 'hacking' challenges in his spare time.
