It's important that database users are aware of these changes and what they mean. We have created a full impact analysis and implementation plan that will come into effect from 4 September 2018. We advise users of the RIPE Database to read this plan: https://www.ripe.net/manage-ips-and-asns/db/impact-analysis-for-nwi-5-implementation We also recently published an article on RIPE Labs with some background and additional context: https://labs.ripe.net/Members/denis/out-of-region-route-6-and-aut-num-objects-in-the-ripe-database RPKI VALIDATOR 3.0 The new RIPE NCC Validator 3.0 is in full production. Of course, we lead by example and run the new validator ourselves. It can be found at: https://rpki-validator.ripe.net/ API documentation can be found at: https://rpki-validator.ripe.net/swagger-ui.html COMPANY NAME CHANGE IMPROVEMENTS We have improved the request form for company name changes. It now offers a simple, step-by-step process to update the legal name as well as address and billing information. Is your membership still registered under the correct company name? Did your company change name, or was it acquired by another company? Do not take any risks and check it online via the LIR Portal: https://my.ripe.net/#/update-registry If you have problems logging in, you can always ask for help at <ncc at ripe.net>.
