Test Traffic Measurements Service
For new users: What is this service?
What do you really know about the quality of your connectivity to the
rest of the Internet? Can you effectively diagnose problems involving
other networks? Can you detect long term trends in your external connectivity?
The Test Traffic Measurement Service (TTM) will provide the answers for you.
TTM allows you to comprehensively and continuously monitor the connectivity of
your network to other parts of the Internet. TTM provides your network operations
center (NOC) with information to investigate problems and help prevent them in the
future. TTM provides you with trend analysis, making it possible to address
problems pre-emptively.
Measurements done by TTM include: one way delays between hosts (latency), packet
losses, path information ("traceroute"), bandwidth, delay variation (jitter). Data
is accessible in plots showing the results for the last days or months and in raw
format.
TTM has been offered (since October 2000) by the RIPE NCC to the Internet
community as a full service. The service is available to the community at
large.

For existing users: Where do I find the results for my Test Box?
If you already have installed a Test Box, you can access the data for that
box by clicking the link "Test Box Data" on the left. Installation instructions
for your boxes can be found in the section "for test box hosts". In this
area, you will also find all other documentation about your test box.
