December 2001

  • Additional slide on "Communication Process Between LIRs and Registration Services" of the RIPE NCC
  • New web interface for the Whois look-ups, enabling advanced look-ups
  • New handouts included:
    • Flowcharts on creating the route objects
    • Initial allocation requirements

November 2001

  • New initial allocation criteria introduced
  • Creation of route objects explained, stressing multiple hierarchical authorisation rules
  • New example of the "Addressing Plan" added to the IPv4 Request Form
  • More emphasis on the involvement of LIRs in the policy creation process
  • New documents published: "ASN Request Form and Supporting Notes", obsoleting ripe-147
  • Removed all the transition to RPSL comments, since it was finalised in October 2001

October 2001

  • New polices and the "IPv6 Request Form for Internet Exchange Points"
  • Two new RIPE Working Groups: Technical Security and IP Management Tools
  • Added tabular overview of the mailboxes that RIPE NCC uses for communication with LIRs, with descriptions and the possible keywords
