Are you interested in hosting a RIPE NCC Training Course?
The RIPE NCC currently offers three one-day training courses:
- The LIR Training Course (teaches LIRs how to request resources and
interact with the RIPE NCC)
- The Routing Registry Training Course (how to use the Database for
routing)
- The DNS for LIRs Training Course (the RIPE NCC's DNS-related services)
We can tailor-make half-day or one-day courses, which include components
of all three courses. If you are interested in this option, please contact

Being a host will allow you to:
- register up to five attendees from your own organisation
- save on travel and accommodation costs
- highlight your organisation's profile to others in your region
- display your corporate logo on this website
- help the RIPE NCC organise more courses
A list of previous hosts of RIPE NCC Training
Courses
If you would like to host a RIPE NCC Training Course, you will
need to:
- accommodate 20-25 people in a classroom or 'u-shape' training room
- provide facilities to hold three coffee breaks and one lunch break
- give the RIPE NCC trainers access to a flip chart, projector screen
and provide a high speed Internet connection
The RIPE NCC will:
The RIPE NCC will pay for the following:
- catering services
- travel and accommodation for the RIPE NCC trainers
- shipping costs for the training material
Conditions:
- RIPE NCC Training Courses are open to RIPE NCC members
- The Training Courses are free of charge. However, attendees must
pay for their own accommodation and travel and expenses
- A maximum of five people from your organisation can attend each course
