IPv6

The RIPE NCC allocates and assigns IPv6 address space in the RIPE NCC service region according to the IPv6 Address Allocation and Assignment Policy, IPv6 Address Space Policy for Internet Exchange Points and IPv6 Addresses for Internet Root Servers.

Requesting IPv6 address space requires RIPE NCC Membership.

To request an IPv6 allocation, you need to be a member of the RIPE NCC.

Smaller ISPs and End Sites can obtain IPv6 address space from their upstream provider.

To make your IPv6 request you can either:

• Log onto the LIR Portal with your LIR Portal account and make your request online or;
  
  
• Copy and paste the relevant request form into an e-mail and send it to hostmaster@ripe.net. Request forms can be found in the Request Forms & Supporting Notes section in the RIPE Document Store.
