The RIPE community has formed a number of working groups to deal with issues and topics affecting the Internet community. The RIPE Working Groups meet twice a year in dedicated sessions at RIPE Meetings. Each working group also has its own mailing list to facilitate discussion.
The ripe-list mailing list carries general announcements and discussions about RIPE.
Develops policies relating to the management and registration of Internet addresses and routing identifiers (IPv4, IPv6 and Autonomous System (AS) Numbers).
The ENUM Working Group discusses developments relating to Internet resource mapping using E.164 telephone numbers as identifiers, commonly known as ENUM.
The RFC 2050 Working Group was formed in 2001 to address the
issues relating to relevance of RFC 2050 to the needs of today's
Internet registry system.
