Appointment of Programme Committee Members

All appointed members of the PC serve a term of no more than four consecutive RIPE meetings.

Appointed members of the PC must not serve more than three consecutive terms.

Membership terms should be staggered to ensure a healthy but stable turnover.

Appointed members should be chosen through a deliberate process by the relevant constituency: ie no renewal of a term on the PC by default.

For the members appointed by the NOGs and WG Chairs, each group will decide how it selects its PC representative.

For the four community-chosen members, one will be elected for a four meeting term at each RIPE meeting.
