RIPE 50 - Information for Newcomers

RIPE Meetings provide an opportunity for the RIPE community to come together face-to-face and exchange information.

Newcomers Introduction Talk

For those who were new to a RIPE Meeting, there was the Newcomers’ Introduction Talk on Monday at 1.15pm in Room C58. The Chair of RIPE and a RIPE NCC staff member presented an overview of RIPE and the RIPE NCC, and explained how the RIPE Meetings are structured.

For more information please see the “RIPE Meeting Newcomer’s F.A.Q.”

“Meet & Greet” Desk

The RIPE NCC “Meet & Greet” program is there to help new attendees have a successful and productive RIPE Meeting and is a contact point to the RIPE NCC.

Representatives from the RIPE NCC were there to answer any questions you may have had. The Meet & Greet Desk opened on Monday and was next to the Registration Desk.
