Hostmaster Consultation Centre
The Hostmaster Consultation Centre is a service offered by the RIPE NCC during the RIPE Meetings. It allows you to discuss issues relating to your business directly with our hostmasters.
Please check the daily schedule if you would like to meet with a particular hostmaster.
Our opening hours are:

| Thursday 29 January | 10:30 until 17:30 | |
| Friday 30 January | 10:30 until 13:00 |
The RIPE NCC Hostmaster Consultation Centre is located opposite the Registration Desk.
However this service is not limited to our members only. Anyone with a question on resources is welcome to visit us. We can also help with questions about how to become a RIPE NCC Member.
How can we help you?
We can provide answers to a range of questions, including:
- What are the steps for becoming a Local Internet Registry (LIR)?
- What is the Early Registration Transfer (ERX) Project? Which IP ranges are affected?
- How does the LIR Portal improve the interaction with the RIPE NCC Hostmasters? Can you help me with setting up an account?

Our Hostmasters will also be happy to answer your questions about:
- IPv4 allocations or assignment requests
- ASN requests
- IPv6 allocations or assignment requests
- Reverse delegation requests
- Registry file updates.
