A BoF session will be held on Wednesday 14 May, 15.00 - 16.00.

Subject: RIPE NCC Services

Traditionally RIPE NCC services have always been part of the agenda of
the LIR Working Group, though other working groups (Tools, DNS) have also touched
upon this subject. The recent RIPE NCC Membership Survey revealed that Members and other interested parties would prefer to have a more clearly defined channel
for discussing the various aspects of RIPE NCC services.
In this BoF session we would like to explore the possibility of creating
a new RIPE working group: the RIPE NCC Services Working Group.
The aim of this WG would be to discuss at least the following:
- performance of existing services
- introduction of new services and tools
- an ongoing evaluation of the RIPE NCC Activity Plan
Of course, such a working group would not replace the RIPE NCC Membership Meetings. So, RIPE NCC budget and fee structure would be outside the scope of this working group.
