RIPE 44 Meeting
Important info for New Local Internet Registries
In an effort to bring new Local Internet Registries together with the
membership and the RIPE community, the RIPE NCC will grant each new LIR
two free tickets to attend the RIPE Meetings.
All new LIRs who have signed "The Standard RIPE NCC Service Agreement"
after 1 January 2002 will be eligible, provided that they have paid their
first invoice. The tickets will be sent electronically in the form of
two codes that should be used when registering for the RIPE Meeting. The free entry covers the registration cost only and does not include
the fee for the RIPE dinner. You are also expected to cover your own transportation
and accommodation costs. After you have registered, you will receive an
e-mail reconfirming your free registration to the RIPE Meeting.
How to use these tickets: Each ticket is valid for one person only. In order to redeem the ticket, you
will need to enter your unique ticket string in the designated field of
the online registration form.
These free tickets are valid for one year only. As a new LIR you are free to
use these two tickets at one meeting, or over two different meetings. Please
do not lose this information, as you will need the code to redeem the tickets
when registering for the RIPE Meeting. If you do not use these tickets within
a year of their issue date, they will no longer be valid. The issue date refers to the day you paid your first invoice to the RIPE NCC.
The codes for your free tickets are sent to you by e-mail. We strongly encourage you to make use of this opportunity to attend the
RIPE Meeting. Detailed information about the meeting can be found at: http://www.ripe.net/ripe/meetings/index.html. For questions, please contact <meeting@ripe.net>.
