That's exactly how they do it. Each plane has a /24, each of the
earth-stations has an ASN and as the flight progresses, the prefix moves
from ASN to ASN.
There were a couple of talks about it by Boeing people last year, but I
can't find any slides offhand.
However, I guess the service is now being run down?
