It depends on the implementation you want to achieve.
If your customer requests it's own AS, he will have to
use BGP to announce it's address space it, and he'll
be able to control the advertisements.
If he doesn't request an AS, you can advertise the PI Space
under your own AS (this depends on your local policies also-
you might not want to do that), but this way he'll have no control
over the advertisements (this doesn't matter a lot with single homed
installations). Using this implementation, you'll have to somehow
provide reachability from your AS to the customer with your internal
IGP.
