Dear colleagues,

we are happy to announce a new RIPE document together with a new maintenance
release of the RIPE Database code.


New RIPE Document

RIPE 189 - RIPE NCC Database documentation update to support RIPE DB ver. 2.2.1

 A new RIPE document to supplement RIPE 157 as reference material on the use
 of the RIPE Database. Describes new or modified functionality since RIPE 157
 was issued. Covers DB releases up to the 2.2.1 release (see below).

New RIPE Database release

 Version 2.2.1 is mostly a maintenance release. There are very little user
 visible changes from version 2.2.

 This version will go into production at whois.ripe.net next Monday.

 It is available for download now from
