For those people that are playing or want to play with the ISI RIPE
based server for RPSL:

I have build in automatic referral support in case a NIC handle,
domain or AS# cannot be found in the local copy/mirror of the
database. This referral mechanism is not perfect but makes the
information that you get back more useful then it used to be...
