    Hi David,
    
    great, however, it doesn't seem to work for my example, or there is no
    ARIN mirror for ASes or whatever reason:
    
$ whois -h whois.6bone.net AS11042

% RIPEdb(3.0.0a13) with ISI RPSL extensions
% referto: whois -h whois.internic.net -p 43 as11042
% referto: whois -h whois.internic.net -p 43 !as11042


$ whois -h whois.6bone.net 11042

% RIPEdb(3.0.0a13) with ISI RPSL extensions
% No entries found in 6BONE database.
