RIPE NCC Executive Board Election Results

Dear Colleagues,

The RIPE NCC General Meeting May 2008 was held Wednesday, 7 May 2008,  
adjacent to the RIPE 56 Meeting, at the Palace Hotel in Berlin.
The meeting agenda included an election to fill two RIPE NCC  
Executive Board seats for three-year terms.
Fahad AlShirawi and Andreas Wittkemper were voted onto the Board,  
replacing Kees Neggers and Jim Reid.
There were 111 attendees excluding RIPE NCC staff and observers from  
the other Regional Internet Registries.
In addition to the Executive Board election, the RIPE NCC members  
approved three resolutions. The RIPE NCC 2007 Audited Financial  
Report was approved. Jaap Akkerhuis, Remko van Mook and Olaf Kolkman  
were appointed to the panel of RIPE NCC arbiters. And the RIPE NCC  
Executive Board was discharged with regard to its actions as set out  
in the 2007 Annual Report.
The RIPE NCC would like to thank its membership for the input and  
support given at the General Meeting and congratulates our newly  
elected Executive Board members.
