ASO AC selects Raimundo Beca to serve new term on ICANN Board

Dear Colleagues,

The Address Supporting Organization (ASO) is pleased to announce that 
the ASO Address Council (AC) has selected Raimundo Beca to serve a new 
term on the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) 
Board.

Mr Beca's appointment follows a lengthy selection process,  including a 
public call for nominations, interviews with eligible candidates, 
background checks, a public comment period and a vote by all ASO AC 
members. The AC confirmed the result at their meeting on 2 May, 2007.
