RIPE Region Hostcount for December 2003

Dear All,

Below is the hostcount for December 2003. 

The table shows an increase since last month of over 420,000 (or 2,05%) 
to a total of almost 21,070,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe and
surrounding areas.

The es domain shows the highest increase for December with approximately
138,000 hosts more than in November.

  (*) The Hostcount itself was completed on the 23rd of January, however
      the RIPE-47 conference resulted in the late production of this
      report.
