RIPE Region Hostcount for May 2002

Dear All,

below is the hostcount for May 2002. 

The table shows an increase since last month of over 520,000 (or 3,2%) 
to a total of almost 17,140,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe and
surrounding areas.

The cz domain shows the highest increase for May with approximately
150,000 hosts more than in April.

- Brief Notes on this Hostcount -

There are less domains in the count, as it was not possible to retrieve
new data for bh, om and ne for a while now.

The it data of April, 2002 was reused because the remotely collected 
data turned out to be corrupted.
