Dear All,
Sincere apologies for not including the Hostcount Table and the
notes on this Hostcount in the previous mail I sent, hereby included.
below is the hostcount for August 2001.
The table shows an increase since last month of over 181,000 (or 1.2%)
to a total of almost 15,490,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe and
surrounding areas.
The uk domain shows the highest increase for August with approximately
148,000 hosts more than in July.

- Brief Notes on this Hostcount -
- The June, 2001 data for es was reused since no new data was received.
- The July, 2001 data for be had to be reused due some problems with the
local collection.
- Due to local collection problems, de is without the detailed error
files, resulting in no information regarding AXFR blocks and no
response zones.
