Dear All,
below is the hostcount for June 2001.
The table shows an increase since last month of over 940,000 (or 6,6%)
to a total of over 15,200,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe and
surrounding areas.
The nl domain shows the highest increase for June with approximately
696,000 hosts more than in May.

- Brief Notes on this Hostcount -
- A number of domains that have been excluded for a while
because AXFR's were not possible, have been counted again:
bf, bj, cf, dj, dz, gm, gq, im, ne, so and td
- Due to another filesystem problem, a small percentage
of the following domains didn't get counted:
gr, hr, il, kg, ro, se and uk
- After a rather long time, we managed to get new data for
uk, although not complete due to the point mentioned
above. Nevertheless the new count of uk has caused a big
increase in the global number of hosts counted.
